	The Beauty of Brevity Conciseness is seriously undervalued nowadays, particulary within the genre of epic fantasy. Yes, fantasy readers are avid. Most will suffer through a tome with few complaints. But why make them suffer at all? Why step off the straight and narrow into bloat and filler? Why preclude the rest of your audience who isn't willing to slog through four books of no plot advancement to find out what happens in the end? (I'm looking at you Wheel of Time. Hence why I felt compelled to abridge the series) More is not better.
